IAIR/about us

Stichting Art in Redlight, AIR, is an initiative from Simone Swildens, Harm van Wieren en Rob Thijssen. The foundation started in 2005 with the aim of promoting modern international art. With this vision Art in Redlight is creating the opportunity for artists of varying disciplines to show their work to a broad public in a professional and accessible way. This unique concept has proven very successful, given the enthusiastic response to previous exhibitions AIR 1 Engaged Creativity (2005), AIR 2 Identity (2006), AIR 3 Art Moves (2007), AIR 4 Seen and to be Seen (2008), AIR 5 Art, Migration and Identity (2009).

AIR is working with a yearly theme in order to proclaim an open dialogue between the artists themselves and the audience.

Publicity

The catalogue and PR material will be designed by the Mediacollege Amsterdam. They will also be handling the entire digital campaign. Follow us on iAIR.
